By improvising machine learning, Gmail will be able to assist users in drafting emails faster using Smart Compose or reply to messages much faster, provided with suggested responses made by Smart Reply.
To prioritize what’s important or overdue, it can also follow up with emails with subtle reminders in your inbox and also notify users to reply to threads. The new update comes as a part of a larger effort that can bring the look and feel of G Suite apps together making it easy to use.
Google also went on to mention that "In coming weeks, you’ll see the new mobile design in Gmail on Android and iOS, with more G Suite mobile apps to follow later this year.”
