Lisbon, Portugal: Portugal coach Fernando Santos keeps making over his squad, handing two players their first call-ups and bringing back two veterans for the European Championship qualifier against Armenia next week and a friendly against Argentina.

Santos took charge six weeks ago, when Paulo Bento departed after a home defeat against Albania in the opening Euro 2016 qualifier.

Santos called up five new players and several overlooked veterans, and got the qualifying campaign back on track last month with a 1-0 win in Denmark.

For this month's games, defenders Tiago Gomes and Raphael Guerreiro are included for the first time. Striker Helder Postiga and defender Jose Bosingwa, both in their 30s, have returned.

Portugal plays Armenia on Nov. 14 and meets Argentina in Manchester, England four days later.
