Chennai, Sep 8: Amir Khan notched a hat-trick to star in BPCL's 4-0 win over Indian Overseas Bank in a Group A fixture for their second successive success in the MCC-Murugappa Gold Cup All-India hockey tournament here Saturday.
In a Group B match, Air India also recorded their second win with 7-1 drubbing of Integral Coach Factory while former champions Indian Railways, courtesy a goal by Gagandeep Singh, edged out All India Customs and Central Excise 1-0 to record their first win in two outings.
For BPCL, who dominated the proceedings, Amir Khan knocked in three goals to achieve the first hat-trick of the tournament while Jarnail Singh notched the fourth.
