England have put a massive total on the board. They started off in a positive manner. Attacked Ashwin in the very first over, got 17 runs off it. Roy though seemed to be in a hurry as he played one shot too many, Moeen Ali didn't trouble the scorers. Root and Hales stitched a 48-run stand for the 3rd wicket. The latter was looking set for a big innings before he threw it away. Morgan came in and took his time, once he was set he tore the India bowling apart. Bopara applied the finishing touches to the innings with some meaty blows. 81 came off the last five overs.
