Sydney , Oct 13: Former test paceman Nathan Bracken has taken Cricket Australia to court seeking compensation for lost earnings and expenses after he was forced to retire this year due to a chronic knee injury.
Bracken, who retired in January after missing the entire 2010 season due to injury, is seeking compensation for lost wages, medical expenses and damages from CA in the Supreme Court, according to a report in The Daily Telegraph.
Thursday's report said Bracken is seeking about $1 million, saying CA was negligent in allowing him to play with his knee injury. After a brief court appearance Wednesday, the case was adjourned because CA had yet to provide relevant medical records, the report said.AP
