Virat Kohli lauds Anushka Sharma for 'rightfully' pulling up people throwing garbage on road

Kohli filmed the incident on his phone and immediately took to Twitter to share the incident. While some praised the duo for their actions, many made a mockery out of it.

Team India skipper Virat Kohli played a different role altogether on Saturday as this time, the swashbuckler and his wife Anushka Sharma came across a person littering the road in his luxurious car. The social initiatives pioneers did not hesitate to give the passenger a piece of their mind. It was the Bollywood actress who did the talking whereas Kohli was recording the incident on his phone. 

The skipper immediately took to Twitter to share the matter. Kohli's caption wrote,'Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma. Take a look.

Halting the vehicle, Anushka said,'Why are you throwing garbage on the road? Please be careful, you cannot go on throwing plastic on the road. Please use dustbin next time,” 

The passenger in the vehicle was no no mood to admit his mistake and argued with her.

It didn't take much time before the video could go viral. While some praised the duo for their actions, many made a mockery out of it through which eventually angered Kohli.

Kohli wrote,' Lot of people who don't have the courage to do something like this find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame.' 

The Indian skipper without any difficulty cleared the YoYo test and has been declared fit to face Ireland in a two-match T20I series which begins from June 27.
