New Delhi: The suspense over which four teams will qualify for the Play-offs of Indian Premier League 2016 is finally over. Gujarat Lions, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will now have a final fight for the cup.

While GL staying at number one position is not much of a surprise, it is RCB who has done the miracle of climbing the points table from number seven to number two, the credit of which goes to the showman Virat Kohli.

His consistency is something that has everybody in awe.

Today, he once again led from the front, hitting a responsible 54-run knock to register a thumping win over Delhi Daredevils.

It was the RCB bowlers that set up the easy win by restricting Daredevils to a modest 138 for eight with leg-break bowler Yuzvendra Chahal (3/32) taking three wickets and Chris Gayle (2/11) scalping two batsmen in a single over.

Surprisingly, despite it being a knockout clash and a Play-offs berth at stake, many Daredevils batsmen did not show much urgency to score quickly.

RCB took control of match with smart bowling and overhauled down the target with 11 balls to spare.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 22 runs to qualify for the Play-offs.

Defending 172-run target on a slow and turning Eden Gardens pitch, Narine (3/26) returned his best figures of the season and was ably supported by left-arm chinaman Yadav (2/28) as Sunrisers could only muster 149 for eight.

Both KKR and Sunrisers finished their campaign on 16 points from 14 games, which was enough for both the teams to qualify for the play-offs.
