Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the first greenfield airport of Sikkim at Pakyong.
Ahead of the inauguration ceremony of the state's first airport in Pakyong, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared some of the beautiful pictures of the Himalaya state on Twitter.
Describing the state as 'serene and splendid', PM Modi tweeted a series of images using the hashtag 'Incredible India', the tagline of India's tourism.
"Clicked these pictures on the way to Sikkim. Enchanting and incredible! #IncredibleIndia", tweeted PM Modi.
PM Modi reached Sikkim in an MI-8 chopper from Bagdogra on Sunday and was received by Governor Ganga Prasad, Chief Minister Pawan Chamling and others at Libing Army Helipad.
PM Modi dedicated the Pakyong airport to the people of Sikkim and to the nation.
