Capturing SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and MM Keeravani's 'Naatu Naatu' victory moment

One of the biggest awards nights in the world of cinema has concluded. Films from across the world competed to win the coveted Golden Globe. The Indian film won its first award for "RRR" song Naatu Naatu composed by MM Keeravani. He won the award for the 'best original song–motion picture'. The song has been composed by Keeravaani and voiced by singers Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.

As Naatu Naatu was announced as the winner, the team of RRR including Ram Charan, Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli erupted in loud cheers. To receive the honour was music composer M. M. Keeravani, who was accompanied with his wife Srivalli. There to receive the award was Keeravaani, who found himself struggling to hold back tears as he took to the stage. He dedicated the award to Rajamouli and the actors Ram Charan and NTR Jr.

MM Keeravaani received the award and thanked the fans globally for all the love. He thanked director S S Rajamouli for his "vision" as he accepted the award. "This award belongs to my brother SS Rajamouli," Keeravaani said, and thanked the filmmaker for his support. He also thanked Prem Rakshit and Kala Bhairava, lyricist Chandra Bose and NTR and Ram Charan 'who danced with full stamina'. He ended by thanking his wife Srivalli.

"Naatu Naatu", filmed on Ram Charan and Jr NTR, roughly translates to dance like no one's watching in Telugu. Choreographed by Prem Rakshith, it has legions of followers still trying to master its steps. The song, which became a sensation across social media as users took to their own version in viral Instagram and Tik-tok videos, has been shortlisted for the best original song, along with 14 others, in the Oscars.

Apart from Ram Charan, Jr NTR, M M Keeravani and SS Rajamouli, the team of "RRR" that reached Golden Globes also included the film's producer Shobu Yarlagadda. Charan was accompanied by wife Upasana Kamineni and Jr NTR came with Lakshmi Pranathi. Rajamouli was joined by wife Rama Rajamouli.

The film's team -- led by Rajamouli and leading men -- arrived on the red carpet of the Golden Globes in style. While Ram Charan and Rajamouli opted for black Indian outfits, Jr NTR wore a black tuxedo to the award ceremony. Prior to making his entrance to the red carpet of the Golden Globes, Ram Charan shared a group picture with the team on his official Instagram page.

What makes 'Naatu Naatu' appeal to the masses is its universal appeal through a joyous vibe and a hook of a dance step that's a rage.
