1,123 COVID-19 cases detected out of 24,492 tests in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate is at 4.58%. The total number of cases now at 58,837 including 40,591 discharged cases, 18,098 active cases, and 145 deaths. 

792 new COVID-19 cases and 9 deaths have been reported in Haryana today, taking the total number of cases to 41,635. The death toll stands at 483. 

10,820 new COVID-19 cases and 97 deaths have been reported in Andhra Pradesh. The total number of cases now at 2,27,860 including 87,112 active cases, 1,38,712 recovered cases and 2,036 deaths. 

1,078 COVID-19 cases and 25 deaths reported in the last 24 hours in Gujarat. The state tally rises to 71,064 including 14,272 active cases 54,138 cured/discharged and 2,654 deaths. 

89 fresh COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Chandigarh today, taking the total number of cases to  1,515. The death toll rises to 25 after 1 death was reported today. The number of active cases now at 585. 

In the last 24 hours, Manipur reported 118 new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the total number of cases to 3,753.

230 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Uttarakhand today, taking the total number of cases to 9,632 including 3,334 active cases, 6,134 recoveries, and 125 deaths. 

987 new COVID-19 positive cases and 24 deaths have been reported in Punjab today. The total number of cases now at 23,903 including 7,998 active cases, 15,319 discharges, and 586 deaths. 

1,211 new COVID-19 cases, 970 recoveries and 2 deaths reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours. There are 12,347 active cases and 21,836 have recovered so far. The death toll stands at 108. 

507 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir today, 129 from Jammu division, and 378 from Kashmir. The total number of cases at 24,897 including 7,422 active cases, 17,003 recoveries, and 472 deaths. 

5 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in the Dharavi area of Mumbai today, taking the total number of cases to 2,617 including 88 active cases. 

5,994 new COVID-19 positive cases and 119 deaths have been reported in Tamil Nadu today. The total number of cases now at 2,96,901 including 53,336 active cases, 2,38,638 discharged cases and 4,927 deaths. 

Karnataka Health Minister B Sriramulu tested positive for COVID-19.

Total COVID-19 cases in Himachal Pradesh rises to 3,334 including 2,128 patients cured and 13 deaths. 

One terrorist was killed and two others were seriously injured as an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir was foiled, the Army said on Sunday.

Air India Express said on Sunday that the mortal remains of the 16 passengers who lost their lives in the Kozhikode plane crash had been handed over to their families. The mortal remains of pilot-in-command Deepak Vasanth Sathe have already been taken to the Cochin International Airport, from where it would be taken to Mumbai later in the day, the airline said in a statement.

The mortal remains of co-pilot Akhilesh Kumar were cremated on Sunday "with attendance from all family members as well as with the officials of Air India and Air India Express present to mark respect to the departed soul at Mathura, his hometown", it said.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said the COVID-19 situation in Delhi is under control and the recovery rate is improving. Speaking at the inauguration of a hospital in Ambedkar Nagar, he said in case the situation takes a turn for the worse, the government is fully prepared to deal with it.
