80 year old cleric in Saudi performs 60 hajjs
New Delhi: An 80 year old Muslim cleric in Saudi Arabia named Sheikh Jabran Yahya Solaiman Al-Malki has performed pilgrimage to Mecca 60 times. He is a priest in a mosque in Jazzan province. His
"There is no comparison between the Hajj services today and those of the past when resources were scant," he said.
Hajj is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca and largest gathering of Muslim people around the world.
It is one of the five pillars of Islam and a religious duty.
The pilgrimage starts from today till October 18.
