Ghaziabad, Jan 4: Two minors today died after eating contaminated food while their mother was admitted to a hospital in serious condition in Vijay Nagar area of the district
8-year-old Gulzar, elder sister Reshma (14) and their mother had 'biryani' in lunch after which they felt uneasy and were rushed to a nearby hospital, SHO Vijay Nagar Rajesh Dwivedi said.
The two minors died in hospital and the condition of their mother was stated to be serious, he said.
The matter is under investigation to ascertain whether they died of food poisoning or the food was contaminated with poison.
