Chandigarh, Oct 19: The Punjab Government today asked state departments to prepare a list of all their cases which are pending in Punjab and Haryana High Court so as to get them resolved through Lok Adalats.
The departments have also been instructed to approach the registrar of the High Court in this regard, an official spokesman said.
He said to reduce the number of pending cases of different departments in the High Court, details of such cases would be prepared by the departments and where conciliation is possible, the registrar would be approached to amicably solve cases through Lok Adalats.
