Kolkata : Trinamool Congress all-India General Secretary Mukul Roy yesterday said he would not comment on the allegation by suspended party MP Kunal Ghosh that he was being made a scapegoat in the Saradha scam, saying ‘nobody is above the law'.
“I am the senior-most member of the disciplinary committee of the party and he is a suspended member. How can I comment on what he says?” Roy told reporters when asked about Ghosh's claim that he was being made a scapegoat in the scam. Asked about Rajya Sabha member's claim that he might be arrested by the Bidhannagar Police tomorrow in the scam, Roy said, “Law will take its own course, we have no agenda. Nobody is above the law.”
