Kolkata: A police case was filed against a youth for allegedly molesting a woman in a metro train here yesterday.
The youth against whom the case of alleged molestation had been lodged had also filed a counter case alleging that he was robbed and misbehaved.
The peculiar incident happened in the evening inside a Dum Dum bound metro train, when a scuffle broke out between a youth and a girl inside the train.
The youth alleged that the girl slapped him without any reason and robbed his purse and got down at Shyambazar metro station.
When the youth was getting down from the metro train at the Dum Dum station, a woman, who was present inside the metro train and who claimed to be an eyewitness to the alleged molestation incident, started rebuking the youth for molesting the girl.
Meanwhile railway police reached the spot and handed both the youth and the woman to the Sinthe police station, where the woman claiming to be an eyewitness filed a police complaint against the youth for allegedly molesting a girl inside a metro train.
The girl who is alleged to be molested by the youth is yet to be traced by the police.
The youth in turn had also filed a police complaint against the girl, who is yet to be traced, of robbing him. He also filed a police complaint against the woman who claimed to be the eyewitness of the alleged molestation incident of misbehaving and harassing him.
