Shillong: The 11th Shillong Wine Festival began here on Saturday. The wine festival is based exclusively on local horticulture products- Passion fruits, Bananas, Pears, Plums, Pine Apple, Strawberries, Gooseberries and Ginger.
As many as 11 home-brewers from all over Meghalaya descended in this hill city to give wine enthusiasts an opportunity to raise a toast to the ensuing chill.
