1) Nitish Kumar to launch signature drive over PM's DNA remark
A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to comply with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced to launch a 'Shabdwapsi' drive to protest Prime Minister Narendra Modi's DNA remark.
The drive is scheduled to commence from today with sit-ins across Bihar. It will collect signatures of 50 lakh people and send their blood samples to Modi for a DNA test.

4) Land Bill: Jt Committee to submit report in Parl
With consensus already in place on key issues, the Joint Committee on the land Bill will today submit its report before Parliament. The panel, which has decided to meet again on the morning of August 10 before Parliament convenes, is also likely to move a motion in Lok Sabha seeking a fresh extension as its deadline expired on August 7.
5) Delhi HC to hear Ambika Soni, Selja's plea
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court will today hear the pleas of Congress members of parliament Ambika Soni and Kumari Selja challenging a single judges' order holding that they were not entitled to accommodation in type-VIII bungalows.
6) Arvind Kejriwal to appear in Amethi court today
The civil court of Amethi will today conduct the hearing in the State vs Arvind Kejriwal case. The case was postponed by the magistrate due to the absence of public prosecutor.
