Mumbai, July 3 : A major fire engulfed the third floor of Exchange Building at Ballard Pier in Colaba, Mumbai this morning. Nobody was trapped or hurt, sources said.
Fire Brigade rushed 15 tenders to control the fire, which was probably caused by a short circuit.
The Exchange building houses several government departments.
Most of the employees were busy working in their offices, when smoke was noticed from the third floor.
The entire building was quickly evacuated.
It took nearly two hours for the fire tenders to control the fire.
