Shimla, Oct 2: Mahatma Gandhi's statue at the historic Ridge was found desecrated early Tuesday on Gandhi Jayanti, the Mahatma's birth anniversary.
Some miscreants placed a garland of glass bottles on the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, Superintendent of Police Chander Shekhar said.
He said a case has been registered on the complaint of Deputy Commissioner Arun Sharma.
