2. Suchitra Sen
Legendary Bengali actress who dominated Bengali cinema with her mesmerizing smile, brilliant acting skills and dignified personality.
She was also the queen of box office winning Filmfare awards and national awards for various films.
Suchitra Sen was born in Sen Bhanga Bari village of Belkuchi Upazila, now in Sirajgonj District, Greater Pabna in present day Pabna district of Bangladesh.
3. Dilip Kumar
The Thespian stalwart was born in Peshawar and migrated to Mumbai in the 1930s that changed his destiny.
He was spotted by Devika Rani and her husband at a military canteen and they cast him in their film Jwar Bhata as the lead actor.

4. Allauddin Khan
One of the renowned composers in Indian classical music, Ustad Allauddin Khan was born in 1862 in Bangladesh.
At the age of ten, Allauddin ran away from home to join a jatra band, a traditional Bengali form of theatre.
This experience moved his interests towards folk culture and he started learning music with a goal of becoming an instrumentalist.
He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour in 1971, and prior to that in 1954; the Sangeet Natak Akademi awarded him with its highest honour, the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship for lifetime contribution to Indian music.
