New Delhi: Delhi University has finally centralized the application schedule for postgraduate admissions.
Earlier faculties and departments used to issue their own schedules, from application to entrance dates.
Now all departments will follow the common schedule, while dates for the entrance test will be decided by them.
Departments have been briefed not to allow any overlapping of entrance tests too.
Along with the centralization of schedules DU has has also offered admission process online for the first time ever.
The online application process will continue till April 18.
Ten faculties and the Cluster Innovation Centre will offer various PG programmes under different departments.
Making the applications completely online was a major challenge as the faculties which also held interviews/GD had the discretion to assign weight.
Now the university has decided to assign a maximum of 15% marks to interview or group discussion.
