Srinagar: Security forces today recovered an AK assault rifle and some ammunition from a cowshed in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, police said.
Police, assisted by troops of 52 Rashtriya Rifles recovered an AK-47 rifle, two magazines, 50 rounds and a pouch from a cowshed during a search operation at Sherpora village in Chandoosa area, a police spokesman said.
However, no one has been arrested in connection with the recovery so far, the spokesman said.
