Dehradun: Heavy rains continued to lash Uttarakhand on Monday and Tuesday morning causing landslides at several places near Badrinath and Chamoli.
Landslides were reported near Peepalkoti, blocking the route to Badrinath.
Landslides also took place in Tangni, Patalganga, Govindghat and Lambaghar near Chamoli.
The entire Garhwal region is facing continuous rains since Monday.
Rainfall has been reported from Uttarkashi Rudraprayag, Dehradun and Pithoragarh.
