Jaiswal presses for implementation of food security act in UP
Kanpur: Union Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal yesterday demanded that the Food Security Act be implemented in Uttar Pradesh, saying that the people of the state had been left out from getting benefits of the central scheme.
“I appeal to the SP government to implement the food security scheme so that the people of Uttar Pradesh benefit out of it,” Jaiswal said.
President of Congress' Kanpur unit, Mahesh Dikshit said they will continue their agitation till the food security scheme was implemented in the state.
