New Delhi: Holi is a colourful festival when people meet one another and renew old relationships. The festival also marks the celebration of the triumph of ‘good' over ‘evil'. Colors are able to influence how we feel. We react on multiple levels of association with colours. There are social or culture levels as well as personal relationships with particular colors.Thus on this special occasion we thought to bring into your notice how different colours relate to our lives and what our choice of colours indicates about us. 1.Red If your favorite color is red, you are action oriented with a deep need for physical fulfillment and to experience life through the five senses. 2. Blue Blue is associated with trustworthiness, strength and dependability. It projects that image of dependability and trustworthiness. 3. Green It is the color of eternal life and it symbolizes good luck, peace, vitality, fertility and wealth. Its extremes symbolize envy (“green with envy”), jealousy, disgrace (in China) and greed. 4. Orange If orange is your favorite color, you have a great need to be with people, to socialize with them, and be accepted and respected as part of a group. You also have a need for challenges in your life, whether it is physical or social challenges.5. Yellow The symbol of sunlight and optimism, yellow shines with cheerfulness, joy, hope and intelligence.If it is your favourate colour then you have a deep need for logical order in your everyday life and to be able to express your individuality by using your logical mind to inspire and create new ideas. 6. Pink If pink is your favourate then it stated that you have a deep need to be accepted and loved unconditionally. 7. Purple/Violet Purple is the color of royalty. Highly symbolic of spirituality, purple is used a lot in religious ceremonies and by priests and leaders. 8. Black It is the colour of Power. Lovers of black have a need for power and control in order to protect their own emotional insecurities. 9. WhiteThis colour is associated with the simplicity,independence and self –reliance. If you love this, your deepest need is for simplicity in your own life and to be independent and self-reliant so you do not need to depend on anyone else.
