New Delhi, Apr 11: Four people, including a 45-year-old relative, have been arrested by Delhi Police for raping an 18-year-old girl in south Delhi.
The victim, who studies in a Gurgaon school, was allegedly raped by her sister-in-law's drunken father in Vasant Vihar on Friday.
She fled from his place after the incident and while, waiting for transport to reach home, was abducted by three men in a private taxi, who later gangraped her in the moving car.
"She fled from the house after she was allegedly raped by her sister-in-law's father. She was waiting for a shuttle vehicle on Mahipal Pur road when she was abducted by three people, who later gangraped her in a moving car," a senior police official said.
The men threw the girl from the car at a secluded place in Dwarka Sector-19 around 4 am on Saturday.
She then sought help of the Police Control Room (PCR) team patrolling nearby.
“The PCR team chased the car and arrested driver Vijender, who was one of the accused.
“The relative and the other two accused were arrested later,” said the official.
Last December, in another shocking incident, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped in a moving vehicle by four youths, including a minor, in Sultanpuri area of north-west Delhi.
The incident comes days after a 30-year-old BPO employee was abducted and raped in south Delhi.
