An earthquake of 3.9 magnitude was recorded in Assan's Kampur district on Saturday. The quake was recorded at 9.06 pm with its epicentre 51km West of Guwahati, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the light-intensity quake was 10 km.
