BREAKING: Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Pragati Maidan and more Delhi metro stations closed

A number of metro stations in the national capital were closed by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Wednesday evening. The metro stations that were shut included Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, Pragati Maidan, Khan Market and Mandi House. Interchange facility was available at Central Secretariat and Mandi House.

The entry and exit at the metro stations was closed to ease rush of passengers on New Year's Day. Anticipating a huge crowd on the New Year's eve, the Delhi Metro on Tuesday had restricted exit from the busy Rajiv Chowk metro station after 9 pm.
