New Delhi: Results from the first phase of the Jan Sampark Abhiyaan by the BJP has brought more confidence as it found its position is quite strong in the national capital.
Jan Sampark Abhiyaan is a mass door-to-door programme, launched by the RSS and BJP across Delhi in order to connect with voters .The first phase of the programme was completed on March 31 and the second phase started on April 1.
The feedback from the first phase revealed that the BJP candidates will wrest the west (Pravesh Verma), south (Ramesh Bidhuri), northeast (Manoj Tiwari) and northwest (Udit Raj) Delhi seats from the Congress.
It says it is facing a triangular fight in Chandni Chowk (Harsh Vardhan) but believes the result can go the BJP's way. Status at following seats is week: New Delhi (Meenakshi Lekhi) and east Delhi (Mahesh Giri).
Jan Sampark Abhiyaan feedback programme was performed by teams of 20-30 workers, comprising both RSS and BJP cadre, who covered more than 11,000 polling booths.
