ICAI: IPCC results today, CPT to be conducted on Dec 18, 2016

The CA IPCC May 2016 results is likely to be announced on Tuesday, around 4:00 pm on the official website.

 
All those candidates who appeared for the ICAI IPCC exam in the month of May will soon be able to check their results online.

Along with the IPCC 2016 results, the all-India merit list of candidates securing at least 55 per cent marks in the examination, up to a maximum of 50th rank, will also be announced.

Candidates will be required to keep their hall tickets handy so as to check the results as soon as it is made available online.

The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of lndia has also notified that the Common Proficiency Test  (CPT) will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016, in two sessions. This Common Proficiency Test will be conducted as per provisions of Regulation 25 D (3) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it said

The first session (Morning session) will be conducted from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.

Candidates will be required to fill up the examination application form online at http:llicaiexam.icai.org or icai.nic.in from 6th October, 2016 (10.00 hrs) to 27th October, 2016 (17.30 hrs) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit / Debit Card shall not be charged P 10001- (i.e. cost of application form fee).

The fist section will include Section A and Section B Mercantile Laws. The Second session (afternoon session) will be conducted from 2 Pm to 4 PM (IST). Common Proficiency Test is an objective type multiple choice questions based examination. Candidates will be allowed to opt for Hindi medium Question Paper Booklet for answering the questions.

The papers included in ICAI CPT are Section- C General Ecnomics and Section-D Quamtitative Aptitude.

The exam cantres in Inda include Agra, Admedabad, Ahmednagar, Ajmer, Akola, Alappuzha, Aligarh, Allahabad, Alwar, Ambala, Amravati, Amritsar, Anand, Anantapur, Asansol, Aurangabad, Bareilly, Bathinda, Beawar, Belgaum among others.

Applications for admission to Common Proficiency Test is required to be made in the relevant prescribed form as contained in the lnformation Brochure, which may be obtained from the Deputy Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, lCAl Bhawan,lndraprastha Marg, New Delhi -.. 110002 on payment of T 15001- (T 5001- towards examination fee and 10001- towards cost of application form and lnformation brochure) per application form.

The fee for candidates opting for Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai and Muscat centres will be US $170 (US $ 150 towards examination fee and US $ 20 towards cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent Indian currency.

The fee for the candidates opting for Kathmandu centre are required to remit INR.18501- (INR 8501- towards examination fee and INR 10001- towards the cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent foreign currency, the notification said..
