When Alia Bhatt called Varun Dhawan 'Ranbir', watch viral video

In a hilarious video, Alia Bhatt calls out boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's name instead of Varun Dhawan. It so happened during one of the Kalank promotions Alia and Varun along with their co-stars Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur were having a nice conversation with the interviewer. The video from the same interview is going viral on the web but for a different reason. In the video, one can see VD fiddling with Alia's hair bun. Irritated by it, Alia tells the actor to stop doing it but messes up with his name.

"Ran...! Uh, Varun don’t," Alia says, confusing her Varun's name with her boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor's. Following which, her co-stars laugh out loud and the actress has a moment of embarrassment. Watch the viral video here.

Talking about her chemistry with Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt recently said that the credit for their successful pairing goes to the writers and directors they have worked with.

"I don't think Varun and I can take much credit when it comes to reinventing our pairing on screen. Honestly, it is in the writing and the director's vision that comes to us and we just execute it. We execute it with a lot of passion and zest because both of us want to bring something new and give a different face to each other."

Love blossomed between Ranbir and Alia on the sets of their film Brahmastra wherein they will be sharing screen space for the very first time. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and will be produced by Karan Johar. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Alia will also be seen in the Karan Johar directorial magnum opus Takht while Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the film Shamshera opposite Vaani Kapoor.
