London, July 28: Actress-singer Denise Van Outen has reportedly ended her four-year marriage with theatre actor Lee Mead.
According to The Sun, the 39-year-old actress and her husband split because they fell out of love, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"They're going their separate ways. It's very sad, but they have grown apart," said a source.
The couple were last seen together last weekend, attending a toy event with their three-year-old daughter Betsy.
In the past few months, the pair have rarely been seen together courtesy their work schedules and it's this separation which was the catalyst for the split, according to reports.
"The distance just became too difficult to overcome. They have grown apart - and fallen out of love," the source added.
Van Outen and Mead met in 2007 when he was a contestant on the BBC show "Any Dream Will Do", where the actress was one of the judges. The couple revealed their relationship after Mead won the competition. They tied the knot in 2009, with just 12 guests present at the ceremony.
