Priyanka Chopra announces her memoir, Twitterati go berserk! Check out their reactions

Bollywood actress and global icon Priyanka Chopra announced her memoir titled Unfinished on Wednesday. It will be published simultaneously in India, the US and Britain next year. The actress has revealed that she will be shedding light on her fascinating journey in the film industry in a bold and rebellious manner.

She said, “The flavour of the book will be honest, funny, spirited, bold, and rebellious, just like me,” who made a cut into the entertainment industry at just an age of 17.

“I have always been a private person, I’ve never spoken about my feelings during my journey but I am ready to do so now. I was raised to be fearless when it came to opinions, and I would like to tell my story in the hopes of inspiring people -- especially women -- to change the conversation, to shatter glass ceilings. Women are always told we can’t have everything. I want everything, and I believe anyone else can have it too. I’m proof of it,” she added.

As she announced her uninhibited memoir Unfinished, the die-hard PeeCee fans went berserk and some elated Twitterati couldn’t help but express their excitement on Twitter.

One fan posted, "Oh Wow!! A Book from my Queen @priyankachopra , I am so excited. Wish your Book the success that you achieved as your every success makes us Happy. I want to tell you my Queen how much I love you and your every success makes me happy."

"This has to be the most awaited book ever ???? literally can't wait!!!!", posted one fan.

One fan wrote, "This is really awesome! Can't wait!!"

Another fan tweeted, "Woohoo! Excited".

'Unfinished' will be a collection of personal essays, stories, and observations by actress, producer, activist and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Chopra.

Priyanka has become a multifaceted personality with her forays into the various divergent of the entertainment industry.

She began her career at the age of 17 when she won Miss India and went on to win Miss World the following year, a title that catapulted her to international stardom.

Priyanka earned popular and critical acclaim over three seasons as Alex Parrish on ABC's show 'Quantico', making history as the first Indian actor to star as the lead of a TV drama series, and winning two consecutive People's Choice Awards for the role, again making history as the first Indian actress to win the award.

In April 2016 she was featured on the cover of TIME magazine's coveted TIME 100 issue, as one of the Most Influential People in the world, and in November 2017 was named to Forbes illustrious list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women.

Additionally, Priyanka produces global TV and film content under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures. Also, Priyanka is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, a United Nations Foundation Girl Up Champion, and is involved in a number of efforts to protect children's rights and promote the education of girls, including her namesake charity The Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education.

Talking about the same, Priyanka wrote, "The feeling of checking something off your "bucket list" gives you an indescribable sense of accomplishment...and that's where I am in this moment. I've always wanted to write a book, but the timing never felt right. With each opportunity that presented itself, my first instinct was always to wait...because I wasn't (and I'm still not) finished. I wanted to do more, live more, and achieve more, before putting pen to paper and exposing things I've always kept private to the world. But looking back on my life as a public person, I'm super proud of what I've done and where my life is right now. I've realized you don't have to be finished to tell your story, and that sometimes life's greatest lessons are taught along the ride...when you're still figuring things out...when you're #unfinished."
