Deepika Padukone, who recently got hitched to Bollywood actor and long-time boyfriend Ranveer Singh, is back in work mode. The actress post her dreamy hush-hush Italy wedding has resumed work. She even shared insights of her several recent photoshoots. Deepika also gave a series of interviews post her marriage and opened up about her life after marriage.
She recently attended a book launch which was also about her battle with depression. During the event, Deepika looked stunning wearing a pink off-shoulder ruffled top which she paired with high waisted red pants. She complimented her look with pearl earrings, neatly tied high bun, and fuschia heels.
Deepika spoke about refusing a movie due to the pay gap with her male co-actor and said, "I know my track record and what I'm worth. I know that his films haven't been doing well as my films have been doing. It made absolutely no sense. I was okay to say no to that film based on that one thing as I thought it was unfair."
Talking at the event, Deepika spoke about pay gap disparity based on gender, "I'm ready to take those steps and measures and decisions for myself because I want to be able to sleep peacefully at night," she said.
