New Delhi: Rani Muherjee, who is currently in Poland for the screening of her film ‘Mardaani', will soon fly to London where she will have dinner with Prince Charles.
According to a report by a leading daily, Rani will attend a charity dinner in London, organized by an NGO dealing with girl trafficking. She will also be felicitated at the event for her support for the cause and spreading social awareness through her film ‘Mardaani'.
The next in line for British throne, Prince Charles is also expected to attend the charity dinner. British Asian Trust, organizer of the event is currently headed by Prince Charles. He has attended all the fundraisers organized by the charity and he is likely to attend this one too.
Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi will also attend the fundraiser and will represent his NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan. The event will focus on the issue of abuse and violence against young girls and children.
Rani Mukherjee earned a lot of appreciation for her last film ‘Mardaani'. She played a cop trying to bust a child trafficking gang. Her role of Mumbai Crime Branch officer Shivani Shivaji Roy earned her praises from both critics and audiences.
