New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan finally gives a nod to the sequel of his 2011 super-hero flick ‘Ra.One'. There were talks of the sequel ever since the first instalment came out but it gradually went into the back seat.
The sci-fi film had ended with SRK's character getting revived and it was a clear hint that a sequel is on the cards. But the actor got involved in other projects and the film was put on a hold.
Now, he is ready to start this long due project and it will be called ‘G.One'.
Confirming the news of the second instalment, SRK said, ”Today, technology has changed. In the last 5 years, I have learnt a lot about technology myself. So we are trying to make it bigger and better. ‘Ra.One' sequel is definitely happening. We will call it ‘G.One' this time.”
‘Ra.One', which had Arjun Rampal playing the titular role, wasn't met with a positive response but managed to do a decent business at the box-office. However, the film was lauded by each and everyone for it's never seen before special effects.
Many may not endorse the idea of the sequel but SRK is pretty sure as he holds this superhero quite close to his heart. Well, we hope that this time the film will not leave us disappointed.
If nothing else, ‘Ra.One' was indeed a fearless attempt.
