New Delhi: ‘Dilwale' has ended its first week run at a high note. The film has made its way into the coveted 100 crore club. It is indeed a milestone for the film considering its clash with magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani' which is also doing an excellent business at the box-office.

The Rohit Shetty directed film collected Rs 9.26 crores on Thursday, thus taking its first week total to Rs 102.65 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the collections.

‘Dilwale' has become Shah Rukh Khan's sixth consecutive film to hit a century. Whereas for Varun Dhawan it is his second consecutive film after ‘ABCD 2' to have gone past Rs 100 crores.

However, for actresses Kajol and Kriti Sanon, it is their first film to have made it to the much hyped club.

We would not call these collections outstanding as they are a little below the expectations given the star-cast of the film. But at the same time it couldn't be called poor as well because the film had to face quite a lot of odds.

The big clash with ‘Bajirao Mastani' and protests in some centres seem to have taken a toll at the collections. The film has definitely lost a big chunk of money because of these hurdles.

‘Dilwale' has seen a big drop in screening of about 50-55% from first week and that is certainly not a good news for the film.  However, with the holiday season starting, one can still hope that the film will realise its true potential and put up big numbers.

Having gone past the 100 crore club, the SRK-Kajol starrer is all set to attain ‘HIT' status.
