New Delhi: Not only the domestic but the international audience is too going gaga over Akshay Kumar's ‘Holiday- A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', which has made an impressive collection of Rs 51.93 cr worldwide by weekend.
"Holiday Overseas opening weekend total is approx $ 1.796 million [Rs 10.61 cr]", tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.
The flick is doing exceptionally well in key international zones namely USA (114 screens) and GCC where it grossed Rs 1.81 and Rs 4.95 cr respectively by weekend.
“Holiday, which embarked on a slow start in key intl markets [except UAE-GCC], witnessed substantial growth in business from Day 2. Rentrak”, confirms Adarsh.

Canada- Rs 42.82 lacs from 17 screens
Australia- Rs 53.80 lacs from 20 screens
UK- Rs 1.06 cr from 64 screens
Malaysia- Rs 4.72 lacs from 2 screens
Within first three days of its release, the A.R. Murugadoss starrer minted Rs 41.32 cr in India becoming the third biggest opening weekend surpassing Alia-Arjun's starrer ‘2 States' which earned Rs 38.26 cr nett within the same span of time.
