New Delhi: The title of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Baby' surprised many as it was touted as a hardcore espionage thriller. But now the secret behind it is out and it turns out that it is the code name of the mission Akshay's Counter Intelligence Unit in the film is working on.
The film is based on a mission titled as ‘Baby'. Based on the little information, the investigating team in the film headed by Akshay embarks on the mission to bring a dreaded terrorist to justice.
Since the inception of director Neeraj Pandey's ambitious project, many asked the story behind the title. The director and the cast kept mum over the questions for the last few months.
During the promotions of his film ‘The Shaukeens', Akshay stated that the title of the film is very apt and goes with the flow.
Many speculations were coined regarding the title but, all came to a full stop when the suspense was finally uncovered.
The film is getting a lot of hype among the fans as the trailer released a month ago got a lot of appreciation and has garnered 5 million views on Youtube, becoming one of the most watched Bollywood trailers of the year.
