A police complaint has been filed against actress Sunny Leone for her wrong rendition of the National Anthem. Ahead of a Pro Kabbadi League match in Mumbai, Sunny Leone on Thurday sang the National Anthem.
The complaint has been lodged in the New Ashok Nagar station of Delhi by Ullas PR. In his complaint, he alleged that Sunny did not pronounce certain words correctly. Ullas also said that if someone, who enjoys such immense popularity like Sunny, makes such a mistake, it is a bad influence. He reportedly added that Sunny should have practiced better.
Apparently, Sunny had rehearsed a lot before trying her hand at singing. Earlier, this month she had shared pictures of her from a recording studio on her Twitter page. She had said: “In order to get all the words correct and pronunciation correct I had to hear what I'm singing. Been practicing on my own all month.”
Here is what she tweeted:
Went head on w/one of my biggest fears-singing out loud!Spent the month rehearsing!Hope u like it!! pic.twitter.com/b8chjZ7rt4— Sunny Leone (@SunnyLeone) July 4, 2016
Post the event, an excited Sunny told PTI,
“It’s a proud moment for me. I had never ever desired or thought that I would get to sing the national anthem. I feel blessed and honored. I was very nervous.”
