Bollywood actresses Shah Rukh Khan is making a film for Netflix original, titled Class of 83. It will star Bobby Deol in the lead role.

Shah Rukh Khan who's last production venture Badla fared very well at the box office, has now started work on his next project with Bobby Deol. The film is titled Class of 83 which is going to be a Netflix original. The actor has now turned full-time producer after Zero debacle. However, he has some interesting projects to present on the video-streaming platform Netflix. Although, the title bears resemblance to Ranveer Singh's 83 but the story is entirely different. Reports suggest that Class of 83 will be based on a reunion in 1983.

A Bollywood Hungama report reads, "Shah Rukh Khan and Bobby Deol have shared a great friendship since quite some time now. Bobby is keen on trying out something new and Shah Rukh Khan has always been interested in exploring the web platform further. Having them collaborate for Class of ’83 is definitely something to look out for.”

It added, "The Netflix film is currently under the initial stages. The casting is just being finalized. The process has just kick started. So it is too soon to comment on the same."

Shah Rukh Khan is also producing a Netflix series Bard of Blood for Netflix which has Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. He told ET in an interview last year, "It gives an opportunity to a lot of youngsters who didn’t know where to take their small films. So my deal with Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and chief content officer Ted Sarandos is not just on paper. I’ll try and make stuff for you for which I can’t find a theatre and I am non-self-obsessed to know that certain films don’t need to be in the theatre. Theatres will also change. It will perhaps be more like Broadway where movies will play for six months.”
