Ranveer Singh is on a killer spree. He’s working with Zoya Akhtar in Gully Boy and has also signed a film with Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar, which has been titled as Simmba. On Wednesday, the actor took to his social media to share a picture with Simbaa filmmaker with the poster of Simmba in the backdrop. Ranveer captioned the picture as, “With the Bossman @itsrohitshetty”

According to the latest reports, Ranveer Singh is all set to begin shooting for the cop-drama Simmba. He will be training under Rohit Shetty’s team for few weeks ahead of film’s first schedule. With a mere announcement of shooting going on floors, Ranveer took the social media by storm. After wowing the fans with his spectacular performance in Deepika Padukone-starrer Padmaavat, he’s ready to cast his spell again in Simmba.

Simmba is helmed by Rohit Shetty, who last made Golmaal Again. It is a cop-drama adapted from the Telegu hit Temper. It is slated to release on December 28, 2018. It stars Ranveer Singh, who will be essaying the role of a notorious policeman named Sangram Bhalerao in the film.

Earlier, reports were doing rounds that Ajay Devgn will have an interesting cameo in Simmba. He will be appearing in the film during the climax, according to a leading daily. Ajay agreed to do the cameo in Simmba, citing his 25-year-long friendship with Rohit Shetty. He has worked with the filmmaker in Singham, Singham Returns, Golmaal Fun Unlimited, Golmaal Again, Golmaan Returns and All The Best.

Ranveer Singh is also shooting for Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. It is expected to hit the screen on February 14, 2019. The actor has also been roped in for a film titled 83, which is based on India’s first World Cup win of 1983.
