The actor, who will be seen next in Padmaavat, sported a bulky look for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. However, now the actor has lost oodles of weight and looks so different for his next release Gully Buy, which also features Alia Bhatt. The actor took to Twitter to give us not just a sneak peek at his Gully Boy look, but also at the shocking transformation he has undergone for his new role.
Ranveer Singh plays Allaudin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial epic, Padmaavat, which will finally be released across India on January 25, after months of backlash against its depiction of the revered Rani Padmavati. The makers have said that the film celebrates Rajput pride and valour. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
After Padmaavat, Ranveer started work on Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The actor was to stay in the look for his period drama's promotions. He later started prepping for his other movies. Gully Boy will see Ranveer paired for the first time opposite Alia Bhatt.
Recently, when Deepika Padukone found an interesting meme that was on her name and she shared it on Instagram. her rumoured beau Ranveer Singh was quick to comment as he couldn’t control his laughter whereas DeepVeer fans were seen gushing over their PDA.
Deepika shared Padukone-cone joke and people had good laugh over it. Ranveer commented, “hahahhahahaha’ on her post.
