 Salman Khan’s latest Eid offering Race 3 is all set to hit the cinemas on June 15 and, the multi-starrer film has already been causing much buzz all around.

Salman Khan Eid films before Race 3

Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Eid surely go hand-in-hand. The Bhaijaan of Bollywood likes to release his film during the festive season as it guarantees a bumper opening at the box office. Salman Khan’s latest Eid offering Race 3 is all set to hit the cinemas on June 15 and, the multi-starrer film has already been causing much buzz all around. Right from amazing action sequences to starry glamour, the Salman Khan film has lots to offer to the audience this Eid.

Race 3 is an important film for Salman Khan for a few reasons including the fact that his last Eid release did mediocre business at the box-office and he has taken over the Race franchise from the previously successful director duo Abbas-Mustan and actor Saif Ali Khan.

Before Race 3 hits the theatres this Friday, let’s have a look at Salman Khan’s previous Eid releases

Tubelight (2017)

Salman Khan played a simpleton in this Kabir Khan which also starred his brother, Sohail. The movie wasn't as successful as their previous collaborations, but Bhai was praised for his exceptional performance. The life-time box-office collection of Tubelight stands at Rs 211.14 crore.

Sultan (2016)

Ali Abbas Zafar directed, Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s Sultan was one of the biggest blockbusters of the box office. The film was produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. Not only that, Sultan made a record of entering in the Rs 100 crore club in just 3 days. Moreover, the film earned more than 300 crores at the box office.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015)

In this Kabir Khan directorial venture, Salman played a Hanuman devotee, who accidently meets a Pakistani girl child, and decides to bring her back to her home. This appealing story connected with the audience so much that they had watched the film three to four times in the theatres. Also starring, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra, the film got a humongous success and made more than Rs 320 crore at the box office in India alone. The film was produced by Salman Khan under his production banner.

Kick (2014)

Producer turned director Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut, starring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was the biggest hit of the year. Sallu reprised the role his Robinhood character once again and impressed his fans. The film earned over Rs 230 crores at the box office.

Ek Tha Tiger (2012)

Kabir Khan-directed Ek Tha Tiger marked his first collaboration with Yash Raj Films. Also, the Katrina Kaif starrer film was based on India-Pakistan relations. The film opened to mixed reviews but earned more than Rs 198 crore at the box office.
