As one of Bollywood’s biggest wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh comes closer, the buzz around them has increased to many folds. Fans can’t control their excitement and want to know everything about the grand celebration. The duo has already kickstarted their pre-wedding ceremonies with a Nandi Puja that happened at Deepika’s house in Bengaluru and she looked like perfection in the pictures. Undoubtedly, her bridal glow was clearly evident. And now, reports have suggested that bride-to-be Deepika Padukone has already shopped for the most important accessory in the wedding, her mangalsutra, and it contains a solitaire.
Going by the reports in a leading portal, it is suggested that Deepika has bought her mangalsutra and it costed her Rs. 20 lakhs. The report also suggested that Deepika has bought a chain for to be husband Ranveer as well. While her mangalsutra will have solitaire on it, the cost of all her jewellery is approximately Rs. 1 crore. The report further stated that Deepika shopped from a store in Andheri, and that her visit was pre-informed, due to which the showroom was shut about half an hour earlier than usual.

Aanand L Rai took me on unexpected journey with 'Zero', says Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif, who is essaying the role of an actor in her upcoming film Zero, credits director Aanand L Rai for taking her on an unexpected journey. In the director's next Zero, Katrina plays the role of an actor and she says the character is nothing what she is in real life.
"The profession is the same, I am playing an actor in the film and I am actor in real life. The personality and the character is not at all like me. I am a very behaved and sensible person and this character's name is Babita in the film," she said at the film's trailer launch on Friday.
This is the first time Katrina has teamed up with Rai and she said she had an incredible experience working with him.
"The journey he me took on was really unexpected for and mostly importantly new for me. Everyday I felt I am learning something new. Everyday I felt I was scared and what are we doing, what is Aanand sir doing with me? And do I trust him or not trust him? At least he was there with me.
"We were trying to create something new, different and special. For me, as an actor, as a performer, I learnt lot of things. It was an experience in which I gained from tremendously."
Musician A.R. Rahman on his biography: 'Notes of a Dream...' has been a journey for me
Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman, whose biography "Notes of a Dream: The Authorized Biography of A.R. Rahman" was launched here, says the book has been a journey for him and took him to those corners of his life which have remained candid for a long time.
Written by author Krishna Trilok, the biography in association with Landmark and Penguin Random House was launched here on Saturday.
"'Notes of a Dream' has been a journey for me that took me to those corners of my life which have remained candid for a long time. The insightful conversations with Krishna Trilok have unravelled parts of my creative and personal life which are not known to many," Rahman said in a statement.
He said he is humbled by the people who have showered their love and prayers on him by loving my work.
"Nothing could be possible without their acceptance. Hope this book creates a sense of positivity, perseverance, and love among the readers. It is an uplifting and balancing act of words put together in soothing sentences by Trilok," he added.
