Badarpur Assembly Elections 2026 - Badarpur is one of the Assembly constituencies in Assam. The constituency is a GEN seat. The AIUDF, the BJP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2021 Assembly Elections, Abdul Aziz from AIUDF won the seat with a margin of 23,948 votes. Abdul Aziz was polled 74,452 votes with a vote share of 56.62 % and defeated Biswarup Bhattacharjee from BJP who got 50,504 votes (38.41 %). In the 2016 Assembly Elections, Jamal Uddin Ahmed from INC won the seat and was polled 38,266 votes with a vote share of 34.01%. AIUDF candidate Abdul Aziz got 36,178 votes (32.15 %) and was the runner-up.Jamal Uddin Ahmed defeated Abdul Aziz by a margin of 2,088 votes.
