Speaking to ANI in Bengaluru on December 01, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Siddaramaiah spoke on anti-cow slaughter bill expected to be proposed by BJP government in Karnataka.
Gokak Bypoll Results: BJP's JR Laxmanrao took the seat with 29,006 votes against Congress candidate LL Jarakiholi. The BJP has also won Athani, Yellapur, Kagwad, Chikkaballapur, Krishnarajapura, Hirekerur, Ranebennur, Krishanrajpur, Mahalakshmi Layout constituency seats.
Hosakote Constituency Bypoll Result: Independent candidate Sharath Kumar Bachegowda won the seat with 11,486 votes against BJP candidate N Nagaraju.
Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Mahesh Kumatalli won the Athani Constituency with 39,989 votes against Indian National Congress candidate Gajanan Mangasuli.
BJP candidate Arabail Hebbar Shivaram won the Yellapur seat by over 31,408 votes on Monday, defeating his nearest rival Congress candidate Bhimanna Naik.
Chikkaballapur Constituency Result: BJP's K Sudhakar won the seat with a comfortable margin of 34, 801 votes against Congress' M Anjanappa. In the 2018 assembly elections, this seat was won by INC candidate Dr. K. Sudhakar.
