Notably, PM Modi was referring to the scam wherein it was alleged that jobs were given in Indian Railways in exchange for land.
The CBI's line of inquiry was believed to have focused on Yadav's financial transactions, including his purported links to AB Exports Private Limited and AK Infosystems Pvt Ltd.
Land for job scam case: Special judge Geetanjali Goel had on February 27 issued summons to the accused persons, including Prasad's daughter Misa Bharti, and directed them to appear before the court today.
The court issued summons to both Lalu and Rabri in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) scam case.
Interestingly, the significant development came nearly a year after the Central Bureau of Investigation had closed the case against Yadav and his family members after it found "no concrete evidence that could prove the allegations".
The IRCTC scam case relates to alleged money laundering in granting the operational contract of two IRCTC hotels in Ranchi and Odisha's Puri to a private firm in 2006.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) will have to submit them on February 25 at 2 pm.
The court, on January 19 had extended the interim bail granted to the three which ended on Monday.
The interim bail granted to Prasad's wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav in the CBI case was also extended till January 28 by Special Judge Arun Bhardwaj.
The accusations were made on Yadav and IRCTC officials for granting sub-lease right of two railway hotels at Puri and Ranchi to Sujata Hotel Pvt Ltd, owned by Vinay and Vijay Kochhar.
IRCTC scam case: Delhi's Patiala House Court grants bail to all accused including former Bihar CM Rabri Devi & RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. All have to furnish a personal bond & surety amount of Rs 1 lakh each.
