Calling Nathan Lyon the 'best spinner in the world' at the moment, Ashton Agar insisted that he's biding his time to make the most of his opportunities.
The team comprises five Australians, two each from India and the West Indies, and one apiece from Pakistan and Sri Lanka. He selected Ricky Ponting as the captain of that team.
While Indian batsman KL Rahul retained the second spot in batsmen's rankings, Ashton Agar made heavy inroads after his impressive performances against South Africa.
Ashton Agar picked up a brilliant fifer, including a hat-trick, as Australia defeated South Africa by a huge margin of 107 runs in first of the three T20Is.
Agar nearly had a double hat trick when he took two in two balls later on. The left-arm spinner finished with brilliant figures of 5-24 as South Africa crumbled to 89 all out — its lowest T20 total — in reply to Australia's 196-6.
Agar achieved the feat during the first T20I of the three-game series against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg in what was his first over in the tour.
Ashton Agar grassed a catch hit by his own brother Wes at the Karen Rolton Oval here, according to a www.cricket.com.au report.
