Xiaomi has launched a new model of the Mi Notebook Air that features an Intel Core i5 processor and comes with a 12.5-inch display. The Mi Notebook Air is up for pre-sale on the official website and JD.com. Key highlights of the new Mi Notebook Air include a 12.5-inch display with up to 4GB RAM, 4G connectivity support and 256GB of storage.

Looking at the specs, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air comes with a full-HD display resolution (920x1080 pixels) with 170 degrees wide viewing angle, 600: 1 contrast ratio, peak brightness at 300nits and 16: 9 widescreen ratio. The device runs on Windows 10 Home Edition and is powered by the seventh gen Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor, paired with Intel HD Graphics integrated graphics 615. It get up to 4GB RAM and 256GB SSD with an option to expand it further using a hard drive.
For the camera, it packs a 1 Megapixel web camera with support for 720p video calls and the company claims that the Mi Notebook Air supports 1C fast charge that can last for up to 8 hours of online video playback, 7.5 hours of web browsing and 7.5 hours of local video playback. It measures 292x202x12.9mm in terms of dimensions and weighs 1.07kg. Moreso, it comes with a backlit keyboard, and ports include a USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI, and 3.5mm earphone jack. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G and more.
